Abstract

Des compositions synthétiques de matière pouvant améliorer la liaison de cellules sont divulguées. Lesdits composés synthétiques imitent un petit segment bioloquement actif correspondant à toute la séquence d'amino acide de collagène GTPGPQIAGQRGVV. De plus, on décrit des méthodes d'utilisation pour promouvoir l'adhérence cellulaire vertébrée en fixant lesdits composés à un substrat et en ajoutant des cellules.
Synthetic compositions of matter that enhance cell binding are described. These synthetic compounds mimic a small biologically active segment corresponding to all or part of the amino acid sequence, GTPGPQGIAGQRGVV, of collagen. Additionally, methods of use for promoting vertebrate cell adhesion by attching these compounds to a substrate and adding cells are detailed.
